This is my offering for a technique that I have found very helpful to establish better habits. I have used it when I gained 35 pounds over my goal weight. (My goal weight was established when I lost 165 pounds in 1996.) With regain I found it hard to regain the habits that I had previously. This sort of program was mentioned in Scientific American and it fit well with my reading of Kahneman and Haidt. Give it a try, it costs nothing, I hope you will find it as useful as I have found it.
